Hello again!
Right, just thought i'd use this blog thing to set out some goals for the future. I have a few in my head, but i thought i'd right them down so i can have a look at them and cross them off/add some more as i go along.
I think the first ones i'll put on the list will be to lose weight and get fit. I'll be getting some money tomorrow hopefully. I have to pay off a couple of debts, but i think i'll be left with about £50. I bought an ad-mag the other day, and it had a couple of exercise bikes in there. So i'll ring about and ask if they are still for sale. If not, i'll keep looking and hopefully get one by the end of the week.
This will start off everything once i get this bike. I've really let myself go again. I am 18 stone now, the heaviest i've ever been. I've been heavy before and lost a lot of weight, and put it back on again. I lost the weight before just by changing by diet, and it flew off me. But this time, i want to get fit too. I will change my eating habits too. It will be the same weight watchers plan as i did before, but not quite as strict, so it is easier for me to do, and makes it less likely for me to get sick of it.
So, the first thing i need is the bike. Once i've done that, i need to get a book and write down what i eat everyday, Like i used to before. I will work out how many calories and how much saturated fat is in everything i eat, and use my weightwatchers point counter to figure out how many points is in every thing i eat. I will limit myself to 30 points a day, this is more than i used to have, so it'll be a bit easier on me and i'll be less likely to quit. This number might go up/down depending on how much energy i ned to do the exercise on the bike.
Once i get the bike, i'll figure out how much exercise i can do, and push myself to do more and more exercise each week, and eventually get fitter. Burning more and more calories as i go along. i'm not sure how many calories it'll be yet, but once i get the bike and find out how much i can do before i get tired, i'll find out.
I want to lose quite a lot of weight. I was thinking 4 stone for now, and see what i'm like when i'm there. When i lost weight before, i lost weight at about 1 stone per month. I will aim for this this time too. With the exercise i'm planning on doing. I think this will be okay.
So, if i officially start the exercise and the healthier eating on the 1st December (i'll start working on the eating now). I should be 14 stone by the 1st April. Which would be amazing!
Once i start all the exercising and healthy eating, i'll start toning up too. I'll start doing press ups, sit ups, little weights etc. Just to look at bit better. I'll start small and work my way up.
I really need to do this. I really don't like the way my body looks and i want to be happy, healthy and to be able to fit into the red and black shirt that i've got in my wardrobe. At about 14 stone, i will probably fit in that comfortably. My mum bought it for me last christmas and it didn't fit, but i've kept it, just in case one day i lost enough weight to wear it. Roll on 1st April. I'll be so happy when i can wear it!
So, here is my first Goal List.
1 - Buy exercise bike.
2 - Sort notebook out and write out weeks December 1st - April 1st.
3 - Sort out calories burnt a day, sits ups, press ups, weights etc.
4 - Lose 1 stone by New Years day.
5 - Lose 2 stone by February 1st
6 - Lose 3 stone by March 1st
7 - Be 14 stone by April 1st.
The main reason i want to get the exercise bike is to try and make exercising less boring. I want something i can do from the comfort of my own home. I can watch films on my computer while i pedal away, watch TV in my room. Listen to music etc. I think if the exercise bike is in my house, i'll have more motivation to get on it and burn some flab off.
The food will be the problem again i think. Once i get going, i might be ok. Everytime i have something bad to eat, i'll burn it off with the bike. I will probably get sick of burning things off all the time, and i might start eating a bit healthier so i don't have to be on the bike all day. I don't eat too unhealthily, i just eat lots, probably because of boredom. Another reason i have this blog!
I just want to look good. I want to be able to walk to town without being sweaty when i get there.
There is loads of other things i want to do. But that is for another post. Maybe tomorrow.
